John Ryan (JR) Koeijmans joined Stifel in 2019. Prior to Stifel, he worked at Merrill Lynch since 2009, most recently serving as First Vice President – Senior Financial Advisor. He co-founded the WK Group with Lance Whitworth at Merrill Lynch, drawing on each other’s strengths and unique skills in an effort to better serve clients. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, J.R. gained experience in the financial industry on Wall Street. He is committed to ongoing financial education and has attained the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation, which is administered by the College for Financial Planning. JR is honored to have been named to Forbes’ Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors list for 2021 and Forbes’ Best-in-State Next-Gen Wealth Advisors list for 2022.
JR focuses on understanding clients’ wealth management needs and risk tolerance. It is through this understanding, along with Stifel’s global research and wide range of investment strategies, that he is able to build personalized portfolios that incorporate each stage of his clients’ financial future. He provides financial guidance to high-net-worth individuals, families, small businesses, trusts, and foundations by focusing on their values and what is most important to each of them.
JR earned a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University’s Business Economic Program. He also holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (Investment Advisor Representative) licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities). In 2020, JR was chosen to lead the Dallas Stifel office, serving as Branch Manager.
A native of Dallas, Texas, JR attended Jesuit College Preparatory, where he is an active member of the Dallas Jesuit Foundation Investment Committee. Prior to joining the Jesuit Investment Committee, JR served on the Jesuit Alumni Board. In 2022, JR was honored to join the Notre Dame School of Dallas Foundation Board. He is an avid Dallas and Texas A&M sports fan and enjoys spending time with his wife, Meghan, and daughters, Holland and Reese. He is an active member of the Lakewood Country Club and Dallas Petroleum Club, where he can be found golfing and enjoying a meal with family and friends.

Focusing on plan construction, security due diligence, and risk mitigation, Lance draws on 15 years of wealth management experience to help clients manage their portfolios in ever-changing market conditions. He offers tailored guidance to a select group of clients and addresses their specific wealth planning and investment needs. He believes in a balanced approach to investing, using multiple asset classes and management styles to help diversify portfolios and mitigate risk.

Nicole is an integral part of the team, providing a high level of service and administrative support. She began her financial services career with JR and Lance in 2016 at Merrill Lynch and joined the team at Stifel in 2019. She is responsible for managing the team’s daily operations while delivering highly personalized attention to clients’ account-related needs.
Nicole maintains a strong knowledge of client needs through a high level of communication, fielding client questions, and resolving issues. These are all part of Nicole’s focus on developing strong relationships built on trust and confidence.
Prior to Merrill Lynch, she served as a Member Service Representative and Bank Teller at Credit Union of America. She graduated from Kansas State University and also holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (Investment Advisor Representative) licenses.

Kristen joined Stifel in 2020. Prior to Stifel, she worked at Northern Trust as an Associate Portfolio Manager. She began her career in 2011 as a Registered Representative at Morgan Stanley. She also spent four years at Merrill Lynch, where she was responsible for supporting two senior financial advisors. Kristen is passionate about the financial services industry and enjoys staying relevant on the latest research and news. She assists the team with implementing customized retirement planning strategies and is the team lead for coordinating the information needed to analyze alternative investments and insurance planning strategies. She also directs the Wealth Planning initiatives for clients and prospects and assists with discretionary trading within the teams’ propriety investment models.
Kristen earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (Investment Advisor Representative) securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses.

Dylan joined Stifel in 2023. Prior to joining Stifel, he spent more than five years in the insurance industry as a Risk Management Advisor for a DFW-based property and casualty brokerage. Dylan specialized in helping small and middle-market executives develop insurance solutions that specifically fit their company’s needs.
Dylan earned Bachelor of Business Administration from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University in 2018.
Dylan is a founding board member of The Champions Club, a group associated with The Notre Dame School of Dallas that serves students with intellectual disabilities. In his spare time, Dylan enjoys spending time with his wife, Sadie, their daughter, Ray, and their close friends. He also enjoys supporting his beloved TCU Horned Frogs.
